Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia

Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia is a predominantly right sided cardiomyopathy. Pathology shows replacement of myocardial fibers with fatty, fibrous, or fibrofatty tissue.
The following echocardiographic findings have been reported:

• Sacculations of the right ventricular free wall.
• Dilatation of the right ventricle and right ventricular outflow.
• Myocardial thinning and and dyskinesis.
• Thickening and hyperreflectivity of the moderator band.

• Pediatric considerations.
• Atypical case from our lab.
